Shipping Policy

Ready-Made Terrariums

Delivery Areas: We currently deliver only to select postcodes: Hornby 8042, Halswell 8025, Templeton 7678, Prebbleton 7604, Rolleston 7476, West Melton 7618, and Lincoln 7672.

Click and Collect: You can pick up your order from our location in Rolleston, Selwyn, Canterbury, NZ. Please email us at contact@alwaysalive.co.nz to arrange a pickup time.

Delivery Time: Delivery typically occurs within 5 working days. We will notify you if there are any delays due to stock availability or other factors. For urgent requests, please contact us for expedited shipping options.

Kokedamas, Pots, Plants, and Other Products

New Zealand Wide Shipping: We ship kokedamas, pots, plants, and other products across New Zealand.

Click and Collect Orders: Arrange a pickup time by emailing us at contact@alwaysalive.co.nz. Pickup is available from our Rolleston location.

Shipping Times:

  • Orders without plants: Dispatched within 1-2 business days. Delivery usually within 3-5 days. Tracking details will be emailed (check spam folder if not received).
  • Orders with plants: To minimize depot storage, North Island orders are collected Mondays and Tuesdays, and South Island orders Mondays to Wednesdays. Expect delivery within 3-5 days after dispatch.

Shipping Costs

We offer competitive shipping rates and use recycled packaging to reduce costs. Free shipping on orders over $99. For orders under $99:

  • Christchurch (non-rural): Free click and collect or $6 delivery.
  • Nationwide Shipping: $9 (non-rural), $16 (rural).

Returns and Exchanges

Under the Consumer Guarantees Act, we do not accept change-of-mind returns or exchanges for terrariums and plants. Contact us within five days at contact@alwaysalive.co.nz for faulty product returns or exchanges.

Damage Reporting:

  1. Photo of damaged packaging.
  2. Photo of interior damage if feasible.
  3. Photo of item damage.
  4. Email contact@alwaysalive.co.nz with photos and details.

Lost Package: Contact us promptly at contact@alwaysalive.co.nz if your package shows delivered but is missing. Important Notice

Ensure your contact phone number and shipping address are accurate and complete. If an incorrect address is entered, contact us immediately. We are unable to take responsibility for lost or stolen items delivered to an incorrect address.
